FRANKLINTOWN. Currently boasting seven miles of asphalt and crushed stone pathway, the Gwynns Falls Trail is ideal for runners, walkers, and bicyclists. The trail starts at Leakin Park, and winds through Baltimore's urban greenway system, passing historic sites, recreation and nature centers, and more. Eventually, the trail will extend 14 miles, connecting Leakin Park with the Inner Harbor, and passing through some 30 neighborhoods.
